Grandparents update

Hi everyone!! We spent the day today,(halloween) at Jenny's as she had Alex's entire class, along with the moms over for a halloween party. We helped run off the games and get the lunch on. There were 14 kids, AND MOMS! wHAT A HOUSEFULL. We have been spending alot of time out at Olivia lately. We are having a guy take down the barn. Last Sun. we came back to go to Pete's for a get-together for my siblings. When we got home to the farm at about 6:00 or so, the barn was collapsed. It turns out the guy was working on it and the wind was so strong it blew the barn down! The guy he had helping him broke his leg,as he was up on a ladder at the time! Anyway, we went in the house to find our power was off, and our water pump wasn't running so we just went to Redwood Falls and stayed in a motel. The next day I managed to get some of the power restored but had to have an electrician come out to get us fully up. I suppose I should explan, when the barn went down it pulled the wires off at the pole and blew fuses. Tomorrow night we are going to Lepleys for a halloween party. the little grandkids and there parents have been going there the past few years. Really looking forward to seeing everyone over the Nov. Dec. holidays. God bless you all!1

John McCain Rally

Hello all,
I went to a John McCain rally, and took a lot of pictures. It was a really good rally, probably about 1,000 people there. I left campus at 8:30 with a couple of friends we made it to the courthouse at around 10. We walked there and it was overall an adventurous day. Hi Jacobs clan, We received a call last night from izzy. She is in the twin cities and she thinks she can make it to the sat. lunch at our house. Since she has trouble walking she won't come to the orchard, just over for lunch. Her only problem is getting there as Kathy can't bring her. We'll work on a solution to that. Hope all is well in your respective families!
