Farmington Times

Hello All,
Well I am in my 3rd week as the new Compliance Engineer here in Farmington. It has been quite busy, and I have been doing a fair amount of traveling too. I was in San Diego around the 1st, and I have some training to attend in Reno next week, then around the 9th of June I have to go to Portland, OR for another conference. Whew! After that, however, traveling for work will be finished for a while. The toughest part of the whole thing so far is having to be up here while my family is in Los Lunas.
I have been working with a mortgage broker this week to get pre-approved for a house. It looks like we will qualify for around $210k so hopefully we will be able to find something reasonable for that price. The market here is pretty high and I simply cannot grasp what drives home prices. Anyway, it will be nice to own instead of rent!
Luke and I are going on a Men's retreat to Capitan, NM up in the southern mountains the weekend after next. We are really looking forward to that! As a Dad it sure can be hard to spend as much time with your kids as you would like so I am really looking forward to the one-on-one time!
Molly saw a Pain Specialist who was able to prescribe some decent medication for her back pain and foot/hand pain. He also is going to do some shots for pain next week and have her start physical therapy to help as well. Please keep her in your prayers as she tries to beat this thing!
